There are many aspects to consider when choosing what lashes are right for you.
Please look through our gallery to see what grabs your fancy, then shoot me a message or give me a call and we can go from there.
Please also consider
What is the occasion?
Will you be in photographs?
Do you wear makeup or strip lashes regularly?
Have you had extensions before?
What is the condition of your natural lashes? Are they sparse, full, thick, fine?
Does your workplace/ place of education have uniform policies?
Ahh, this old chestnut.
In a nutshell, properly applied extensions should cause extremely minimal cosmetic damage to your natural lashes and absolutely no long term damage.
Picking, pulling, rubbing your extensions, or those improperly applied can damage the hair follicle of the lash. This will cause thinning of your natural lashes, in many cases permanently reduce the growth or quality of the hair.
If you are having a lash crisis please contact me for advice and an emergency removal. Do NOT attempt to remove yourself!
Hybrid is the new kid on the block.
It works similarly to henna, staining both the hair and skin of the brow.. BUT hybrid generally provides more consistent, longer lasting results, and also has a larger colour array available.
This means we are able to use colour theory to tailor a hybrid mix just for you.
Your very own brow colour.
Unfortunately, a reaction to lash adhesive means you are no longer a candidate for lash extensions.
Lash reactions can happen at any time. They develop spontaneously, it could be after your first appointment, or after 5 appointments, or even after 30 years of no concerns.
In a vast majority of reactions, the client is reacting to the cyanoacrylate in the adhesive, which is found is most reputable brands. This ingredient is also found in the ‘sensitive’ lash adhesives on the market, so the risk is still the same for reacting.
With these types of allergies, they can present initially as only on one side, or as very minor irritation and swelling symptoms. It is important that you are aware that with each subsequent exposure and reaction YOUR SYMPTOMS CAN WORSEN. In extreme cases, anaphylaxis can occur.
However, no extensions doesn’t mean you can’t have beautiful lashes. Lash lifts are a great alternative for those who are unable to get extensions or can’t commit to the maintenance.
